Activists pose as Guantanamo prisoners
Washington, D.C. USA: Betsy Hartson rscj and a co-worker from the project "Living Wages" joined the demonstrators who protested at the Supreme Court on the sixth anniversary of the opening of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Seventy-five protesters, dressed in orange suits with black hoods spoke on behalf of the 275 detainees held at the U.S. Navy base at Guantanamo, Cuba. It was a very powerful demonstration. The Supreme Court protest was among dozens held around the world on the same day.
