It was in June 2007 that Sr. Koko Nagano and the Provincial Council began to prepare the Centenary. We knew that Koko’s intention was to make the ceremony a very simple one, considering the present day situation and the ages of our RSCJS. The ceremony was divided into two parts: the Centennial Mass and the Tea Party.

One by one, she opens each box and goes through the files and papers she finds there to determine what they are.

El acontecimiento que hoy hemos venido a celebrar es la llegada el 30 de noviembre de 1907 de las nueve Religiosas del Sagrado Corazón, venidas de Francia y desembarcadas en Puerto Colombia. Su travesía por mar duró 17 días.
