“This very desire (to take the Name of the Lord to infidel nations) increases daily, and I beg that one of my companions may carry it out, that the Holy Spirit prepare and lead her; that those who come after me... pray for these nations... that they enkindle this fire in the hearts of other women, so that we may profit by the favorable time God will designate in his wisdom and mercy.” |

For prayer : Begin prayer with a gesture of respect and adoration, and offer yourself to the Lord so that he may act in you. Stay with the words of Jesus, "If the grain of wheat does not fall into the earth and die, it remains just a single grain." "If someone would serve me, let her follow me." "Whoever serves me, my father will honor." What missionary spirit do these words evoke in you? What do you want to say and to offer to the Lord in response? |
