Annual DPI/NGO Conference 2010 in Melbourne, Australia

In less than a month the annual DPI/NGO Conference will take place under the title Advance Global Health: Achieve the MDGs. After Paris (2008) and Mexico City (2009), it is now Melbourne, Australia, which will host this premier NGO event. From 30 August to 1 September, hundreds of participants will gather to learn, network and exchange views and ideas on global health issues.

Report of the DPI/NGO Conference 2009

The 62nd Annual DPI/NGO Conference entitled For Peace and Development: Disarm Now! took place in Mexico City September 9-11. More than 1,100 participants from 55 countries listened to inspiring speakers and heard powerful testimonies from victims of violence.

Annual DPI/NGO Conference 2009 in Mexico City

The annual DPI/NGO Conference is just around the corner – from September 9-11, 2009. An estimated 1,500 civil society representatives will gather at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Mexico City to participate in the 62nd annual DPI/NGO Conference which is entitled: For Peace and Development: Disarm Now! ¡Desarme Ahora! Trabajemos por la Paz y el Desarrollo. The conference aims to promote ways in which civil society, in partnership with those in business, academia, philanthropy, media and medicine can work together for disarmament, peace and development.

Report of the DPI/NGO Conference 2008 in Paris, France

At the beginning of September 2008, I was fortunate to be able to take part, with José Basaula, Maria Teresa Devoto, Isabelle Lagneau and Cecile Meijer, in the session which takes place every year in New York for NGO’s accredited to the United Nations.
