Heavenly Father,
unseen Companion of our life,
give us Faith and eager expectancy
as we begin this fresh stage of our journey.
Take from us all fear of the unknown
and teach us to wrest treasures from the darkness.
As the days come and go,
may we find that each one is laden
with happy opportunities and enriching experiences;
and when this year is ended
may our best hopes be more than ever fulfilled.

a burgeoning Alleluia
light and peace and simplicity
full gratitude, full openness.
May you take nothing less for granted than the life you seek
to build up in common.
May you suffer the pain of a
fully generous love.
May you rise to meet the passion
of this world
With the untiring good Spirit of your God.

more room
in our world
more place
in our hearts
more love
