First Sunday of Advent, 27 November 2005

In support of a similar initiative of the Bishops’ Conferences of Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda, Pax Christi International invites members to participate in a Worldwide Day of Prayer for the Great Lakes region of Africa.  We are requesting that you set aside the same date to prayerfully remember this part of the world that has been so torn by war, poverty and human suffering. The date chosen is the First Sunday in Advent, 27 November 2005, or another date that may suit better your local circumstances.
