What is the General Council? |

 The "General Council" is the team that animates and coordinates the Society of the Sacred Heart. The persons in the Council are the Superior General, Clare Pratt (USA), and four Counselors: María Dolores Górriz (Spain), Jane Maltby (England) Marisa Sacerdote (Argentina), and Son In Sook (Korea). The Council members live in Rome during some months, and the rest of the year they visit the countries where there are communities of the Society. The mandate of the Council is renewed every eight years.
