On Wednesday 17 October Archbishop Brady of Armagh Northern Ireland celebrated Mass for the anticipated Feast of Mater Admirabilis in the cathedral with rscj and staff and students of St Catherine’s College. That morning the papal nuncio announced that Archbishop Brady is to be made a Cardinal. There was great jubilation in Armagh. And the news was given top coverage by the media in Ireland.

Archbishop Brady is a good friend of the Society. This photo was taken after the Mass.
