Changing

Desert and parched lands, exalt!
Empty fields and mountains, bloom!
All you flowers, sing a joyful song
And see the glory of the Lord,
The awesome splendor of our God.

Feeblehands, be strengthened,
Weak knees, be made firm.
Heavy hearts, shed your fears.
Behold your God.

God strides lightly, open-handed
To lift the veil of blindness
To pierce the blocking deafness,
Releasing songs into the stillness.

Waters will splash to the sky
And fall to soften barren ground.
Light will peel back darkness
Revealing a road, a holy way
For those with a journey to make.
