Congrès Apostolique Mondial de la Miséricorde (WACOM)

Nous étions 7 rscj à participer à ce premier congrès de la Miséricorde qui réunissait à Rome, et plus précisément dans l’Eglise de St Jean de Latran, plus de 4000 personnes de tous continents, en ce début du mois d’avril !

El 18 de febrero tuvo lugar la tan deseada audiencia de los consejos ejecutivos de la Unión de superiores generales (USG) y de la Unión Internacional de superioras generales (UISG) con Su Santidad Benedicto XVI. 

January 26, 2008 was a day of joy and pride for the sisters of the Society of the Sacred Heart, Indian Province, and the staff and students of Sophia College for Women, Mumbai, and of CWD, Torpa.

La calma ha vuelto al Lyceée du Sacré Coeur de N’Djamena. Asunta Clausen, superiora de la región, y Juliette N’Guemta, rscj chadiana, han regresado al colegio y comenzado la tarea de limpiar el recinto. Los edificios del colegio y de la comunidad no fueron saqueados. Las hermanas pueden comunicarse de nuevo por teléfono.

It was in June 2007 that Sr. Koko Nagano and the Provincial Council began to prepare the Centenary. We knew that Koko’s intention was to make the ceremony a very simple one, considering the present day situation and the ages of our RSCJS. The ceremony was divided into two parts: the Centennial Mass and the Tea Party.

During the past 18 months, Sr. Mary Kubli, archivist for the province of Italy, has come upon some great treasures while exploring the unmarked boxes that make up a still significant portion of her collection. One by one, she opens each box and goes through the files and papers she finds there to determine what they are.
