In September 2003, I replaced Anne Leonard, rscj (CAN) as General Archivist of the Society of the Sacred Heart in Rome. It was only a few months later that this International webpage was launched and with it, the possibility for a much broader form of communication among RSCJ and others |

Name of Archivist: Sr. Margaret Phelan The archives are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm, and from 2:00 to 4:30 pm. They are closed on Italian and Roman Catholic holidays. |

The use of the archives by researchers |

The general archives of the Society of the Sacred Heart are open to scholars doing research on the history, spirituality, activities and personnel of the Society. Some of the holdings are restricted and are not available without special permission for reasons which must be stated. Permission must be requested in writing |
