We are progressing little by little, though in rather a circular fashion, by which I mean that we keep facing the same questions, but from different aspects and with different methods. Our latest task was in age-groups; we had to select three challenges and three hopes, which we then wrote on cut-out flowers.

My experience of the Chapter

My experience of these first days of the Chapter has been of waking up to a reality which takes you by surprise and in which you are barely able to stammer some words and feelings. I come from a small and complex reality where life is a struggle and daily life leads you to look at light and shadows, emphasizing the light. There, although the light is small, it fills you with joy and deep peace. Suddenly meeting here the diversity of faces, some known and others new, I feel dazzled by so much light.

I am Kim, Sook Hee, from the Province of Korea. This is the second time I have been in a General Chapter. Those who have been in several Chapters say that they can see much growth in our attitude to appreciate differences, to consider silence, space and  time, and to accommodate some inconveniences and changes.
